We want you to be over the moon with your Ecosa Mattress. So if, for any reason, you are not happy during your 100-night trial, please email us to let us know. We will arrange for your mattress to be collected and donated to a family in need – no arguments or jumping through hoops involved. Once your mattress has been collected, you'll be issued a full refund (including your delivery fee).
We will arrange to have the mattress collected by the Salvation Army to help families in need. To date, we've donated 3000+ mattresses in Australia and 500+ mattresses in New Zealand.
If you are located outside of the Salvation Army's collection area, don't worry, we will locate the closest charity to you to make sure we help families in need.
Unlike traditional mattress companies, we don’t have a high mark-up on our products. We choose not to waste money on large showrooms full of pushy salespeople on big commissions. Instead, we sell our mattress directly online and pass the savings onto you. We offer fast and free delivery directly to your doorstep.
Pretty simple! We have three interchangeable layers that you can choose from depending on your sleeping style and overall preference for firmness.
- Put the G-7 memory foam layer (colour blue) on top for a medium level of firmness. This lets your body sink a little by distributing weight without pushing against pressure points.
- Place the ECO-Tex foam (colour white) on top for the medium-firm layer. You get cuddle time for your back while this layer studies and contours to your body shape.
- The Ergonomic HD Breathable Support Layer (colour yellow) should go on top if you prefer a firm mattress. This provides your back optimum stability throughout the night.
Your body naturally loses moisture overnight depending on your sleeping conditions – it can increase easily with temperature, or even with the thickness of your blankets. Most mattresses will trap this moisture into itself, cultivate bacteria, and invite allergens to your bed. Our fast-drying waterproof inner cover prevents liquids and oils from seeping further into your mattress – giving you excellent protection against dust mites.
The Ecosa cover is machine-washable. Please make sure to use water at room temperature. If using a dryer to dry the item, avoid high heat, as this can melt, shrink or deform the fabric.
Yes, the Ecosa mattress is resistant to dust mites! We have a German-tech inner cover made of extremely fine micro-filaments that make the mattress 100% waterproof and 99.9% dust mite-free.
Ecosa is an Australian-owned and based company. We source only the best quality raw materials from around the world. These materials come from Germany (90%), Japan (5%), and China (5%). We then assemble the mattress in China with the best craftsmanship and independent quality control. The result? a better mattress at an affordable price delivered straight to your doorstep.
Nope. The Ecosa mattress is not required to be flipped up side down nor rotate. Having said that, we do offer adjustable firmness so you may wish to flip the internal layers to change the feel.
Yes, you may use an electric blanket or heating pad on the Ecosa mattress. Just remember to always follow the safety instructions for the electric blanket.
Just remember that you need to ensure the environment is suitable for the mattress as humidity, condensation, and moisture can cause mould to develop.
To avoid this, simply ensure you stand the mattress regularly to breathe. You can also opt to air out and vacuum the area beneath the mattress regularly. Please note Ecosa will not accept returns or warranty claims for mould or mould-related defects.
There is no need to keep any of the boxes or packaging. If a return is required the charity will collect the mattress at full size as long as it is in clean condition with no rips, tears or stains.
The trial period does begin from the date of delivery so if you know there will be a delay in the opening and use of the mattress, you may wish to select a later dispatch date at checkout.
All you need to do is enter your address at checkout and select a dispatch date. From your selected date, it can take between 1-7 business days for the mattress to arrive.
Unfortunately, we are not able to dispose of your old mattress. We recommend donating your mattress to the Salvation Army if it is in great condition or organise with your local council to have it picked up and disposed of. Another great solution is to contact mattress recycling centres which can be found nationwide - your mattress can then be recycled into useful products like underlay.
The mattress cannot be put back into the box once unpacked, unfortunately. It is delivered boxed for easy transport and unpacking. Once opened, the mattress cannot be squashed back into a box.
Your delivery time frame depends on your location in New Zealand. Once we receive your order, we will dispatch it within 1 business day (Monday - Friday).
