Do I need a special mattress to use an adjustable bed?

No, you don’t need a special mattress to use with the ErgoLift Adjustable Bed. It works with most standard mattresses (under 40cm high) including almost all Ecosa designs (Excludes TrueFirm Mattress). Avoid using bonnell spring mattresses, as they aren’t compatible.Before purchasing, be sure to check with your mattress/frame brand to confirm they are compatible with adjustable beds.

Do I need a special bed frame to use the adjustable bed?

No special frame is needed to use the ErgoLift Adjustable Bed. The base can be used on its own or will work with most bed bases/frames when placed on slats or within the frames, as long as the frame doesn’t have protruding cushions.Compatible Ecosa Bed Bases & Frames Include: Rise, Cove, Drift, Luna, Haven, Alta, Breeze and Zen.ErgoLift is NOT compatible with bed heads featuring large cushioned headboards, such as Ecosa’s Sierra and Elio. This is to ensure that there is space for the mattress to move when adjusted.

Can the adjustable bed keep the mattress in place?

Yes, the ErgoLift Adjustable Bed keeps the mattress in place. It features a non-slip fabric surface and a retainer bar at the foot of the bed to keep the mattress securely in position, even when adjusting angles.

Are there any safety instructions for using an adjustable bed?

As with any technical device, there are some simple safety instructions to follow when using the ErgoLift Adjustable Bed. Before setup, ensure you have read all the safety and setup instructions that come in the booklet you receive with your ErgoLift.

Can Ecosa’s adjustable bed interfere with medical devices or equipment?

Ecosa’s ErgoLift Adjustable Bed does not use magnets and is safe for pacemakers and similar devices. It’s also compatible with equipment like CPAP machines — just ensure cords and tubing have enough clearance when adjusting — and always follow the safety and setup instructions in the booklet you receive with your ErgoLift. For peace of mind and to ensure your safety, we recommend checking with your doctor about your specific setup.

What wood oil/finish do we use on the Haven Bed Frame?

We use environmentally friendly and sustainable timber oil. It’s made out of plant oils and waxes (sunflower, linseed, soybean and thistle oils). It’s also certified by the FSC and PEFC systems that both support the sustainable and responsible management of the world’s forests.

Yes, we sell the Ergolift Adjustable Bed on its own if you want to add to an existing frame or base.
