Adjustable Firmness Mattresses

Allowing you to switch between two or more firmness settings, an adjustable firmness mattress delivers maximum flexibility to discerning snoozers. This is achieved in some mattresses via adjustable air chambers and remote control. While others (like ours) come with foam layers that can be rearranged to suit your needs.

When shopping for an adjustable firmness mattress, ask yourself: Do you simply want the flexibility to adjust your mattress firmness in the case of pregnancy, injury, or a change in preference over time? Or do you need a mattress with different firmness levels on each side?

For most sleepers, a mattress with customisable layers is ideal. However, a half-and-half configuration or air mattress may suit firmness-incompatible co-sleepers or those with specific health requirements.

Also consider the firmness range offered, as this will differ by model and brand.
