Our Riva Fold-Out Sofa Bed uses a true hybrid mattress made from steel pocket springs and polyurethane foam, for genuine mattress-grade support and proper spinal alignment – not a thin mat over a metal frame, no squeaky mechanics.

The Riva Fold-Out Sofa Bed comes in a 2.5-seater with a Double mattress, 3-seater with a Queen mattress, and 3.5-seater with a King mattress – so there's a fit for every room and every guest list.
When unfolded, the full-sized mattress is 203cm in length and takes the following standard size fitted sheets:
- 2.5-seater = Double sofa bed in width but will need a Queen size sheet to cover the length
- 3-seater = Queen sofa bed fits a Queen sheet
- 3.5-seater = King sofa bed fits a King sheet

Yes, Riva is suitable for everyday use as a sofa. Its soft, sculptural design and supportive foam-plus-pocket-spring construction make it comfortable and stylish enough to be your main sofa, not just something you unfold when guests arrive.

Riva’s fabric is not removable for washing. To protect and clean your sofa bed, avoid placing it in direct sunlight to prevent colour fade. Vacuum regularly on low suction to keep dust-free. Remove spills immediately, using a clean, absorbent cloth to blot excess liquid. Do not scrub with a stiff brush.
For trickier stains, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Steer clear of harsh detergents and avoid using excess water to prevent water staining.
Allow your sofa bed to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Always follow care instructions.

Yes, the Riva is suitable for small spaces. Sofa by day, it takes up much less space than a spare bed, unfolding only when you need for convenient sleeping.
For smaller spaces, we’d recommend the 2-seater (Double), but to be sure it will fit in your space, always refer to the Measurements & Assembly section of the product page.
