Frequently asked questions
Due to recent developments with COVID-19, the Salvation Army has decided that its employees and volunteers’ safety is of paramount priority and thus has postponed all collections and donations of mattresses.
We will do all that we can in order to find an alternative solution during this time. Be sure that you will be kept up to date on any changes or updates on the matter.
Rest assured that your 100-Night Trial will be extended by as long as our Third-Party partners are non-operational.
We cannot predict the circumstances of COVID-19. All we can do is to keep our community as safe as possible in these unprecedented times until it is safe for our services to resume regular operation.
By following government regulations, your order will be placed on hold until the lockdown is lifted and our services can resume their normal schedule. However, don’t worry, your order is safe and will be dispatched as soon as we re-open!
If for any reason you are not happy with your Ecosa product, just email us and we will help you. If your product is under a trial, such as a mattress, we will arrange for it to be collected by the Salvation Army to be donated to families in need. Once the collection is confirmed, you will be issued with a full refund.
We ship to anywhere in Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada and Hong Kong.
Ecosa accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal. Please note that there are no surcharges for any transactions.
Unlike traditional mattress companies, we don’t have a high mark-up on our products. We choose not to waste money on large showrooms full of pushy salespeople on big commissions. Instead, we sell our mattress directly online and pass the savings onto you. We offer fast and free delivery directly to your doorstep.
Your delivery time frame depends on your location in New Zealand. Once we receive your order, we will dispatch it within 1 business day (Monday - Friday).
North Island: 1-2 business days
South Island: 3-4 business days
In comparison to a spring mattress, we use a 3-layer foam construction for the Ecosa mattress. It consists of an open-cell foam, gel memory foam, and ergonomic support foam. These all work together to distribute body weight evenly – like having billions of little springs supporting you. Pressure points are significantly reduced up to 80%, which only memory foam can provide. Spring mattresses usually begin to sag after 1-2 years. They lose 16% of their support in the first year alone. Overall, our mattress offers better quality materials, greater body support, and longer-lasting durability.
We hope it does!
Our pillow has an ergonomic design to support your neck and head. This can help alleviate neck pain. It has been designed with an adjustable feature so you can change the height of the pillow to suit your body size and sleep style by removing or adding pads as required.
Small-Medium body builds: use the pillow only.
Medium-Large body builds: use the pillow plus one pad layer.
Large body builds: use the pillow plus two pad layers.
No, both your Ecosa mattress and Ecosa bed base will arrive together within 3 business days. This allows you to set up your new sleep experience all at once.
The Ecosa cover is machine-washable. Please make sure to use water at room temperature. If using a dryer to dry the item, avoid high heat, as this can melt, shrink or deform the fabric.
If you miss your delivery, please contact customer service to reschedule. Please note that the earliest we can reschedule your new delivery slot is at least two business days following your request.
Example: Amanda orders her bed base on a Monday, and chooses delivery between 8am and 1pm on Thursday. On Wednesday, Amanda realises she won’t be home tomorrow. She contacts Ecosa and reschedules her delivery. Amanda can choose any available slot from the following Monday.
